Vintage Crown Pin by Cadoro

Description

This is one of the best looking vintage Cadoro pins I’ve seen.  Popular in the 1960s and sold in fine department stores and jewelry boutiques, Cadoro was known for its well-rendered detail that mimicked high-end fine jewelry.  Cadoro is highly popular with collectors and often sells for up to $485.

This beauty features a cross motif with a central amethyst-colored oval surrounded by small turquoise stones.  At the four corners are clusters of 3 pearls between which there are 4 crowns covered in tiny rhinestones.  The pin comes with a detachable piece that allows you to wear this as a necklace pendant.

Closure:  Pin with locking overlock.

Size:  2″ x 2″

Condition:  There are several missing rhinestones in the outer crowns.  Otherwise, the condition is consistent with its age of 60+/- years.
