The Collection: Thank you for your interest in The Dixie Reinhardt Collection. The Company was started in 2012 in New York City as a second career for Dixie after her earlier career in real estate development, interior design and then as an award-winning designer developing and manufacturing her own brand of fine home goods. Throughout her career she has been featured in wide-ranging media such as Fortune Magazine, Veranda, and The New York Times.
The Collection is proud to offer small production and one-of-a-kind statement jewelry, handbags, clothing and accessories from more than 80 women’s product designers across all categories.
We’re a New Partnership: In 2018 Chirag Panani and Dixie joined forces in a new venture developing women’s clothing, appropriately named Fabulous! Chirag brings a 20+ year career to the partnership, having successfully manufactured high-end clothing and fashion accessories in Mumbai, India where he took his family business from $40,000 to $20 Million annual revenues. He was responsible for developing markets across Europe and South America where the products are widely sold. Chirag manages all sourcing and production while Dixie manages design, sales and marketing, but they work collaboratively on every aspect of building this next phase of the business.
Fabulous! by Dixie Reinhardt Collection launched in October 2018 with the introduction of tops, dresses and jackets that are designed to make all women look chic and well put together. We’re proud to focus on women sized 12-20 because this is the range that most American women actually wear. For the most part we’re forced to buy garments that were designed on a size 4 fitting model that has just been scaled up. We say, “no more!”
Our Design Approach We want you to know that we’re paying attention to the curves of real women. That’s why we build on them to begin with! Our garments are designed for comfort, understated style and classic good looks. We know that if we look good in something, that our smaller sisters will look good too. We just turned the design concept around!
